Foul language.

SPEAKER_01

I find it icky when every other word is a curse word.

SPEAKER_02

Why can you not articulate yourself a little bit better than that? Why do you need to say that all the time?

Sharif Faizullah

What if his language is clean? Can he still cause damage with his words? Rank up that marriage that MBA divorce proof your future marriage today. The first red flag. That is foul language. If a man cannot speak without using the F word or the S word in every other sentence, just run the other way and don't look back. Because if he has a habit of using swear words in everyday conversation, you don't want to hear the garbage that comes out of his mouth when he's frustrated or hangry. What if his language is clean? Can he still cause damage with his words? Yes, he can. That's why you want to watch out for habits like slandering, backbiting, gossiping, and gaslighting. Did you guys know gaslighting to manipulate someone psychologically to question their own sanity? Now, if he is someone who talks trash with you about other people, you can almost guarantee that he's talking trash about you to other people as well.

SPEAKER_01

What if he talks negatively about others to me as his confidant, but I haven't heard him speak negatively about me to others? Obviously, he trusts me, so he feels comfortable saying that to me. What about the time when you're not there?

Sharif Faizullah

Because you're not listening to everything he's saying 24-7. So it goes into overall character and habit. Then to do it to everybody and then keep them separated from each other. You will never know if you are the subject of that backbiting to somebody else. How would you know that?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think it's a little bit naive to assume that oh, you have the best of the worst habits. I have a question.

SPEAKER_02

Out of those five of them, rank them from the most red flag to the least red flag.

Sharif Faizullah

I would put deliberate, on-purpose, habitual gaslighting as top of the list. Yeah. And I'm not talking about someone tells the truth and you can't handle it. A lot of time people use the word willy-nilly everywhere. Just because you don't like something, nobody's gaslighting you. Sure. Maybe they're insensitive, maybe they're brood. That's not what it means. It came from a movie by the name Gaslight, where the husband was saying stuff, doing things to make his wife believe that she's going crazy. She's actually not going crazy, but the husband wanted the wife to believe that. That's what we mean. Deliberate, on purpose, habitual gaslighting. And then slandering and gossiping, foul language and bagbiting might be hand in hand together. It depends on how extreme each one is.

SPEAKER_02

Intentional gaslighting being your number one. Do you not think that unintentional gaslighting could be even worse than intentional gaslighting? At least if it's intentional, they're aware that they're doing it. There is some wiggle room for change. If it's unintentional, they don't even see that they're doing anything wrong.

SPEAKER_01

When it's premeditated or intentional, like I know that if I'm gonna do something, I have my own justification. And if you question me, I already have that prepared.

Sharif Faizullah

They thought about it, they planned it out.

SPEAKER_01

Versus unintentionally, if I do something and you clock that and you tell me, What did you just do? I'm gonna go, Oh, what did I just do? It kind of gives you the wiggle room to clock that and be like, oh wait.

SPEAKER_02

A lot of girls have their ick list. Sometimes those can be a bit pedantic. Ha ha ha. I don't like guys who wear blue socks, but no, this is what you need to actually add to the top of your list. Don't eat all the silly things, but keep this.
