No, this is what real love actually looks like. Things on TV or things that they're seeing in media, that's not actually real love, and they'll be able to distinguish between the two a lot better. Rank up that marriage.
SPEAKER_02My favorite line from this chapter was building your happily ever hereafter. Because of the examples that we have right now, everybody wants their fairy tale happily ever after. And you think really dunya-centric, if that makes sense. Everybody wants that perfect Pinterest marriage. You want your perfect Lenga for your wedding, and you want all the flowers and everything. People forget that you want to choose a person that you want to spend eternity with. Genuinely, I was so moved because when you get to Jenna, you get to pick who your husband will be. And so all the people around me, they're always making jokes about like, oh my gosh, when I get to Jenna, I'm gonna pick Characolon or I'm gonna pick Zane Molly for someone random. They never say their husband, they never say, Oh yeah, I'm gonna pick him again, love him so much. It's always someone random. And so I think it's so cute and beautiful to have an example of an actual lasting true love.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's so true. But if you're not choosing your husband, then why? In the wet, our favorite love stories are from TV shows or from books, and they're so unrealistic that you know the girl dropped her books in the corridor, and then the guy helped her pick them up, and then they made eye contact, and two weeks later they're married with five kids. Like, it's just so unrealistic.
SPEAKER_02You don't want to be one of those people that's like, no, I'm gonna pick Zane Molly. No, pick your husband. Make sure your husband is someone you actually want to be with for a long time, not someone you're settling for now.
SPEAKER_01And I think people as well forget that your husband can be an entryway into Jannah for you as well. So to choose a husband wisely could literally be the reason you get into Jannah. So there's just a lot more to think about than just this world when it comes to marriage.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. I think that also comes down to who's gonna father your children. You want to see that person as like all of their roles husband, father, like they're gonna be a brother-in-law, they're gonna be a son to your parents. They become a part of your life in every aspect. You know what I mean? You are now joining families and creating your own. And so there's so many roles that a husband fulfills and a wife fulfills that they could be completely a means of Jannah for you.
Sharif FaizullahAnd that is a promise of marriage.mba, where we will help you divorce-proof at 20 and live happily ever hereafter, inshallah. So that one day, when you get married in the future, you can ask your future co founder, your future husband, will you marry me in Jannah?
SPEAKER_02You're telling us that we can only experience true love after marriage. How do you know if he's the one then?
